Join us as we explore a new vision of hope for the 21st century.
In this class you will:
- Learn the stages of faith and stages of adult development/consciousness
- Learn how your stage influences the lens through which you view the world AND that each stage has its own wisdom, its own integrity, its own gifts and its own shadow
- Explore how political/religious conflicts are rooted in very different “God-views”
- Practice meditation and contemplation so you have an interior ground to guide you
- Listen to musical selections which convey insights of the different stages of awareness
- Learn practical applications of the stages so you can use these insights in your life
Format:
- We begin with a simple, quiet centering practice
- We read selections from different authors each week and share insights we have gained
- We view lively, thought provoking selections from the film, The Future of Christianity and from Michael Dowd, author of Thank God for Evolution: How the Marriage of Science and Religion Will Transform Your Life and Our World.
All readings and film selections are chosen with the “non-expert” in mind

Leslie Hershberger invited to serve as a personal coach at Kripalu’s Institute for Integrated Leadership
This September, internationally renowned Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in the Berkshires in Massachusetts, is beginning a program for young adults. The program’s purpose is help young adults:
- Clarify their life’s purpose and learn to better live in integrity with your values.
- Develop skills to influence change.
- Create and sustain a daily practice for healthy living.
- Deepen their personal sense of spirituality.
- Strengthen communication and relationship skills.
- Understand and improve their relationship with money.
Each student will work with a professional coach and Leslie has been chosen to serve as one of Kripalu’s coaches. She will be doing phone coaching as they walk through the semester intensive.
